We wanted to reach practical, actionable ideas with key customers more quickly. To do that, we needed external facilitation, clear methods, and fresh perspectives. That's how we developed and implemented the "Customer Innovation Days" concept together with Florian.
Florian facilitated and structured the days, selected exercises that fit precisely, and distilled the results with focus. The Graphical Recording, created by a professional graphic recorder, made insights and decisions visible, shareable, and easy to build on.
Beforehand, we were uncertain how openly and creatively customers would engage with the format — and whether a single, compact day could really produce usable, actionable ideas. That's exactly what happened.
Customers were active, open, and fully engaged. By the end of each day, concrete, prioritized results were on the table — including clear next steps and scheduled follow-ups.
In total, four Innovation Days were successfully conducted with four customers. These produced clear opportunity backlogs and prioritized concepts. Additional Innovation Days are already in the pipeline.
What stood out most was the combination of appreciative, energetic facilitation and clear structure. The Graphical Recording gave each day a distinct identity and lasting impact.
The format is particularly well suited for product, sales, and business development teams that want to innovate in a customer-centric way — especially when co-creation with key customers needs to deliver usable results quickly.
